the flagler street canal runs inland from the atlantic ocean. we fished this quite lake behind some apartments. topwater bass assasins w/ a yellow mustard color.
just your typical s. fla light mid-day rainfall, subtle enough to still see our worm skimming across the water. then imagine someone throws a cinder block into the water from 10 ft above.
this is how these fish hit your lure. bam!!! fish on. snook fight like a bass on steroids. this saltwater fish swam nearly 60 miles inland to feed on smaller freshwater fish. the fishing down here is raw.
